Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the problem of formation and development of
military professional orientation in future officers of the national guard of the Russian Federation. To
conduct a theoretical analysis of the stages of formation of the military professional orientation from
the candidate for admission to the military Institute, to the officer inclusive.
