Abstract. The article raises the issues of legal support of contractual work in the troops of the national guard of the Russian Federation at the present stage of development of this military organization. The authors come to a conclusion about need of further improvement of a legal basis of the specified type of activity of bodies of military management with a support on modern scientific and theoretical developments and taking into account the real situation in troops of national guard of the Russian Federation.
