Abstract. The Russian Federation, with its vast territory, faces the problem of protecting its interests in remote areas of the Arctic, Siberia, and the Far East. In this regard, the issue of ensuring the activities of units that perform their tasks in remote areas and lack of roads becomes relevant. Units of the national guard of the Russian Federation should be able to move freely throughout the territory under their control when performing their service and combat tasks. This article analyzes special off-road vehicles designed to provide mobility in off-road, heavily rugged terrain, and high snow cover and the possibility of its use by units of the national guard of the Russian Federation.
