Abstract. The article considers the role of constitutional law and the place of the National Guard troops in the political system of modern Russia. The authors analyzed the issues of interaction of the National Guard troops with other state authorities to ensure the stability of the state at the present stage. The issues of the need to study constitutional law as the main branch of law in the activities of the law enforcement forces are investigated.
