Abstract. The requirements to the personality of specialists, quality and results of their activities depend in a decisive way on the contents of work (its goals, structural contents, functions realized), as well as on the specifics related to the peculiarities of the professional environment and subjects of professional activity.
Taking into consideration the fact that academic environment of a military education institution has specific goals, lifestyle and contents of the cadets’ educational activities it is defined that  characteristics of the professional and pedagogical activities of teachers of military education institutions are dictated by the peculiarities of the learning process organization, the institutions’ staffing, designing of educational goals and results, determine the necessity to update the requirements to the teachers’ activities as well as the teacher’s personality, make the necessity of teachers’ professional activity psychological aspects data check actual.
