Korchagin M. V. Technological progress and its impact on the leadership potential of Rosgvardia personnel

Abstract. The article explores the impact of technological progress on the leadership potential of Rosgvardia (National Guard of Russia) personnel in the context of the digital transformation of the military sphere. It examines key technological innovations, such as artificial intelligence, VR simulators, and neurotechnologies, and their role in forming a hybrid leadership model that combines traditional command qualities with digital competencies. Based on the analysis of statistical data and the practical experience of implementing the «Video Analytics,» «Chameleon VR. Duel,» and «Steel Character» systems, it is demonstrated that modern technologies increase management efficiency by 35–40 %, reduce decision-making time, and enhance leaders’ adaptability in conditions of uncertainty. Special attention is paid to the new requirements for military leaders, which include technological adaptability, cognitive flexibility, and emotional intelligence in a digital environment. The necessity of balancing automation and the human factor is emphasized, especially in operations where up to half of all decisions are made under time constraints. Future development prospects are associated with the integration of cognitive-technical systems capable of accounting for both the operational situation and the individual characteristics of commanders.
