Abstract. This article is a logical continuation of the study of the formation and development of domestic didactics of shooting (fire) training, described in the previous issue. This article examines the period from the 90s of the XIX century (from the adoption of the 7.62-mm magazine rifle by the Russian army) to the present day. Consideration of the evolution of training military personnel in shooting at different stages of the history of the Fatherland allows us to predict the further dynamics and trends in the development of fire training.
