Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of methods of training and education of future personnel in military educational institutions of higher education of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. Modern approaches to teaching cadets the features of the effectiveness of using automobile equipment are considered. Special attention is paid to the introduction of interactive methods in the learning process. The analysis of methodological aspects that ensure the effectiveness of the learning process is carried out, and a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of using equipment in the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation is proposed.
