Abstract. The article discusses problematic issues related to the teacher’s preparation for classes using digital technologies, as well as the teachers’ willingness to effectively use digital technologies during classes. Since today there is a shortage of software, digital educational resources in educational institutions, as well as the willingness of teachers to fully use digital technologies, this problem is urgent. In the article, the author examines the main regulatory documents defining the development of digital technologies in education, the specifics of teacher training using digital technologies, and suggests a solution to this problem. In addition, digital technologies play one of the main roles in the self-education of not only students but also teachers.
