Lebedinskaya G. S., Pikhtelev A. M. Russian legislation on social protection of military personnel: history of formation and development

Abstract. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the historical development and current state of the legislation of the Russian Federation, which regulates social guarantees for military personnel. The study is especially relevant in the context of modern geopolitical conditions and the conduct of a special military operation, which gives the topic under consideration additional weight and significance. Social protection of military personnel is innovative and significantly complex, requiring in-depth analysis both in practice and in theory. This is due to the peculiarities of the legal nature of this category. The key objective of the work is to form a theoretical approach to the implementation of the social rights of military personnel. This aspect is studied through the prism of the general theory of state and law, which will improve the regulatory mechanisms and the practice of their application. The tasks set in the study are resolved using both general scientific methods, such as comparative and formal-logical, and specialized legal approaches, which include comparative legal and historical methods.
