Abstract. The article is devoted to the peculiarities of pedagogical prevention of conflicts in a military collective. The types and kinds of conflicts are considered, their classification is proposed. The essence and causes of conflicts between cadets of military higher educational institutions, as well as between cadets and officers are revealed. An algorithm of preventive work aimed at preventing and resolving intrapersonal, interpersonal, intergroup and organizational and managerial conflicts is proposed.
