Abstract. This article considers the essence of the social mechanism of government, the structure and the main  key components through the prism of the sociological aspect. An analysis of the mechanism of social management was carried out during which two main parts were identified and studied — subject ive and objective. It has been proven that the model of the social management mechanism has a complex organized structure, which includes the following components: resources, strategies, technologies and the organizational management system (included in the subjective aspect). Its objective aspect is composed of such components as subject control field; social problems to be solved and social factors influencing the management object.
