Balandina T. M. Value orientations of cadets’ choice of the officer profession

Abstract. The article reveals the interrelation between the processes of improving the values of achieving life success and the process of consolidating the cadets’ choice of an officer profession. It is proved that the process of sustainable choice of the officer profession by cadets is conditionally realized at two stages. The first stage – the first months of training is characterized by the process of professional pre-adaptation (the first year of training). The second stage includes the time frame of subsequent training in a military institute (the second, third, fourth, fifth years of training). It is proved that in the second- and third year-cadets have rather stable level of the military profession priority. The fourth, as well as the fifth year of training are the periods that can be defined as the process of final consolidation of the professional choice of the learning actors.
