Abstract. The article considers a model of the future officer professional and business qualities development. The authors present the tasks of creating a model of an officer professional and business qualities are presented. The essence of professional competencies and competence is revealed. The components of the model of an officer professional and business qualities are considered. The conditions for the formation of these qualities are determined. The conclusion is made about the formation of the professional personality of the officer and, as a result, the special nature of his professional and business qualities.
