Abstract. The article examines the processes of the negative influence of the unreliable information about military personnel and employees of the Rosgvardiya on the formation of the correct positive image of their actions as well as public confidence at the institutional, organizational, group and personal (individualized) levels. The activity directions requiring concentration of efforts with the purpose of counteracting and neutralizing the consequences of the negative falsified information influence are emphasized.
