Abstract. The problem of forming cadet’s management skills as a future officer in the educative process at the military university of the National Guard of the Russian Federation is regarded in the article. Certain ways to solve it are proposed. Personal components influencing the formation of the officer’s management culture are presented. Attention is paid to the consideration of formal content-related and functional aspect of the problem.
