Abstract. The concept of future officers readiness for professional activity are examined in the article. Its components are highlighted. The characteristic of the professional readiness criteria is also given. The definition of the concept under study is formulated in the conclusions. The main focus is on the study of topical issues related to the future officers’ readiness for professional activity.
