Abstract. A theoretical analysis of the concepts of «assessment of the social culture of the family»is presented. It is proved that the culture of a soldier’s family is characterized by General and specific parameters. Regarding the specific parameters of family culture, it is appropriate to rank these social groups. Families of military personnel where low values of specific parameters of culture are revealed are suggested to be attributed to the traditional type of group culture. Families of military personnel where high values of specific parameters of culture are revealed are suggested to be attributed to the adaptive type of group culture.
