Abstract. The article examines the approaches and methods of developing strong-willed qualities
in military personnel, such as: initiative, decisiveness, purposefulness, courage, perseverance,
perseverance. The main means in solving the indicated problem is physical fitness. Regular and
systematic use of the entire range of means, methods and approaches of physical training contributes to the formation of a versatile, developed personality of a serviceman, ready to carry out professional
activities and perform service and combat tasks.
