Abstract. The article deals with the concept of «responsibility» from the point of view of pedagogy and psychology, emphasizes the interdisciplinarity and manysidedness of the concept, and gives a professional responsibility definition in relation to cadets of the military education institutions. Professional responsibility is understood by the author as a personal quality, which, at the level of subconsciousness and inner conviction, is the engine, regulator and stimulator of the actions and activities of a person. It influences his way of thinking and lifestyle. Duty, conscience and patriotism are at the top of values.
The article also presents the forms of work aimed at the professional responsibility development at the cadets by the teachers and commanders. The forms proposed are designed with consideration to the development of modern digital technologies and the personal interests of future officers.
