Abstract. The problem of an officer’s professional and business qualities formation in the process of training at a military university for the Russian Federation national guard troops is revealed in the article. Organizational, moral, professional, communicative and pedagogical qualities of an officer are regarded. The formal, informative and functional aspects of the problem are of special attention.
