Abstract. Theoretical approaches to the study of a healthy lifestyle culture are investigated. This phenomenon is considered through the main theoretical paradigms: structural functionalism, conflictological approach, symbolic interactionism, the theory of feminist criticism, postmodernism. It is justified that a healthy lifestyle is formed under the influence of social structures, cultural norms and technological changes, acting simultaneously as an instrument of social integration, a field of class and gender inequality, as well as a space of digital biopolitics. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the power aspects of the formation of health-preserving practices and their transformation in the conditions of
modern society. The study makes it possible to understand the culture of a healthy lifestyle as a complex sociocultural phenomenon, a characteristic of the way of life and at the same time as a complex of socio-cultural mechanisms that determine the motivation of social groups to reproduce, preserve, and promote health. It is proved that the culture of a healthy lifestyle is formed under the influence and influence of the prevailing social culture, social and natural environment of individuals, such as the socio-cultural policy of regions and the state, values, traditions, social norms prevailing in labor organizations.
