Abstract. The article presents a number of problematic issues related to the use of various technical and forensic tools, including satellite measurement technologies and processing of GNSS measurement data in the production of investigative and other procedural actions. The solution of the considered problems is conditioned by the need for objective fixation of the situation, the course and the results of investigative actions in order to further ensuring the fulfillment of tasks of the preliminary investigation and the judicial process.
