Abstract. A military institute teacher plays an important role in the educational activities of the cadets. The formation and improvement of the moral and volitional, psychological and professional qualities of the cadets, development of their spiritual and physical strength, as well as their drive to self-development depends on the teacher’s ability to look for possible ways to increase the effectiveness of the educational process.
