Korovin Yu. N. Modern educational theories and their application in the training of future officers of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation

Abstract. The article discusses modern theories of learning: associative-reflexive, phased formation of mental actions, problem-based learning, programmed learning, their main content and application in the process of training military institute cadets. An analysis of existing theories and concepts shows that each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. In accordance with this, any of them cannot be accepted as the only universal educational basis for organizing the learning process.
