Abstract. The article discusses the features of the process of forming cadets moral consciousness. The theoretical analysis of the works of outstanding Russian teachers and psychologists dealing with the moral formation of the personality of students, students and cadets of military educational institutions is carried out. The author’s program of pedagogical support of cadets in the process of formation of moral consciousness is considered, as well as the main directions of work of commanders and teaching staff concerning the formation of cadets moral consciousness in military institutes of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation.
