Abstract. The article analyzes various theoretical approaches to considering the concept of personality socialization in modern psychological science. The author, among other things, highlights the features of the military-professional socialization of the individual in the conditions of a military university. It has been determined that military-professional socialization is the assimilation and formation of the role of a warrior – defender of the Fatherland, contributing to the formation of his moral and business qualities and acting as a determining factor in professional transformations in the value-motivational and behavioral spheres of the personality of a serviceman.
