As a result of the pedagogical research, the author identified the phenomenon of learners\u2019 motivation decreasing while increasing the firing skills of senior-years cadets. The most likely reasons for the phenomenon are revealed.\u00a0 The recommendations for increasing cadets\u2019 interest in studying the discipline and improving practical skills of weapons usage
