The article\ngives a number of interpretations of the concept of &#171;uncertainty tolerance&#187;. As a hypothesis, it is\nsuggested that the indicators of perception of uncertainty in the process of military-professional\nsocialization change nonlinearly. The study involved 182 cadets (aged M = 20.5; SD = 1.6) of the Saratov\nMilitary Institute of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. In the course of the study, the\nUncertainty Tolerance Questionnaire (NTN) T. V. Kornilova [1]. In the course of empirical research, it was found that the characteristics of the perception of uncertainty in the process of military\nsocialization develop nonlinearly, the growth of some indicators is accompanied by a decline in others.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
