This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) regulates the relations between the Editorial Office of the online journal «Izvestija of Saratov Military Institute of the National Guard Troops» (hereinafter referred to as the Editorial Office) and website users (authors, readers, researchers) regarding the use of materials posted on the pages of the online journal (hereinafter referred to as the Site).
When using the Site, downloading or citing materials from the publication, you automatically agree to the terms of this Agreement.
1. Intellectual Property and Open Access License
1.1. All scientific articles, metadata, abstracts and other materials published in the online journal «Izvestija of Saratov Military Institute of the National Guard Troops» are distributed under the terms of an open international license Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).
1.2. You are allowed to freely:
- Share – copy and distribute the material on any medium and in any format;
- Adapt – remix, modify and create new content based on material for any purpose, including commercial ones.
1.3. Provided that you comply with the following conditions:
- Attribution: You must indicate authorship, provide a link to the license and indicate if any changes were made. This should be done in a reasonable manner, but not in a way that suggests that the Editorial Office or authors endorse you or your use of the material.
- ShareAlike (on the same terms): if you modify the material or create a new work based on it, you must distribute the results obtained under the same license (CC BY-SA 4.0).
2. Responsibility of Authors
2.1. Authors submitting their manuscripts for publication bear full and exclusive responsibility for:
- The originality of the provided materials and the absence of plagiarism;
- The reliability of the presented facts, data, and quotations;
- Compliance with third-party copyright (including the use of images, tables, or long quotations);
- The absence of information in the text that constitutes the state or other legally protected secret.
2.2. The Editorial Office reserves the right to use anti-plagiarism systems to verify the originality of the manuscripts. In case of violations, the Editorial office has the right to reject the manuscript or withdraw an article that has already been published.
3. Limitation of Editorial Office Responsibility
In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the terms of open access, the Editorial Office disclaims responsibility in the following cases:
3.1. For the actions of third-parties: The Editorial Office is not responsible for the unauthorized use of materials from the Site by third-parties that violate the terms of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license (for example, copying without proper attribution).
3.2. For external links: The Editorial Office is not responsible for the content of external websites linked within articles or reference lists, nor for the availability of these resources.
3.3. For the opinions of the authors: The scientific views and conclusions presented in the articles reflect solely the position of their authors and may not always coincide with the official position of the Founder or the Editorial Office.
3.4. For technical failures: The Editorial Office is not responsible for temporary interruptions in the operation of the Site caused by technical failures, actions of hosting providers or force majeure circumstances.
4. Citing and Using Materials
When using materials from this online journal in scientific papers, dissertations, analytical reviews and media, it is strongly recommended to follow the rules of academic ethics and properly refer to the original source.
Example of a correct reference:
[Last Name Initials]. [Title of the Article] // [Name of the Online Journal]. [Year]. No. [Issue Number]. P. [Pages]. URL: [Link to the Article] (accessed on: DD.MM.YYYY).
5. Personal Data Processing
5.1. The processing of personal data of authors and visitors of the Site is conducted in strict accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006, “On Personal Data.”
5.2. Detailed rules for the collection, storage, and use of personal data (including passport information for licensing agreements and metadata for publication) are outlined in the Personal Data Processing Policy.
6. Changing the Terms of the Agreement
6.1. The Editorial Office reserves the right to change the terms of this Agreement at any time. The changes will take effect upon their publication on this page of the Site.
6.2. Continued use of the Site after changes have been made means your acceptance of the new version of the Agreement.
