Rules for dissemination of the work before and after publication (preprints, archiving, postprints, etc.)

Requirements for submitted manuscripts

When submitting a manuscript to the editorial board, the author is obliged to confirm that:

• the article has not been previously published in any scientific publication;
• the article has not been accepted for publication or is not under consideration in other publications;
• the rights to the article will not be transferred to third parties until it is placed in the online periodical.

Rules for citing publications of the online periodical

When citing articles published in the online periodical “Proceedings of the Saratov Military Institute of the National Guard Troops”, it is mandatory to indicate a link to the official website of the publication with the full URL of the material.

The editorial board of the online periodical does not accept preprints for consideration.

Archiving of the manuscript of the article after peer review is not provided.

The editorial board allows authors to independently archive articles published in the online periodical after the expiry of the embargo period (1 year from the date of publication of the article). The article is considered published from the day it is placed on the website of the online periodical. When disseminating the article, it is mandatory to preserve its integrity and indicate a link to the website of the online periodical.

Permitted platforms for placement:

• the author’s personal website or blog;
• institutional repository;
• subject repository;
• direct exchange with teachers, adjunct professors, students, cadets – exclusively for personal use (without public distribution).After publication, there exists the rule of exhaustion of the exclusive right to the work, established in Article 1272 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. According to it, if the original or copies of the work have been lawfully introduced into civil circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation through their sale or other alienation, then further distribution is permitted without the consent of the copyright holder and without payment of remuneration to him.
  

  Dissemination of postprints

  Postprints of articles of the online periodical “Proceedings of the Saratov Military Institute of the National Guard Troops” in PDF and JATS XML formats are placed in open access on the website of the publication, Elibrary.ru, IS “Metaphora” after the completion of the editorial and publishing cycle (peer review, editing, layout and proofreading) on the day of release of the issue of the publication according to the schedule.

  Archiving

  The archive of the online periodical “Proceedings of the Saratov Military Institute of the National Guard Troops” is available in:

  • the National Electronic Library (eLibrary) within the bibliographic database “Russian Science Citation Index” (RSCI) – free for all readers, in full-text version.
