Born December 16, 1977.
In 2000, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Military Institute of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. In 2019 he graduated from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
He is a Deputy Head of the Saratov Military Order of Zhukov Red Banner Institute of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, a Colonel. He is a combat veteran.
Gupalov M.M. is a specialist in the field of creating organizational-pedagogical conditions for cadets’ self-education in military institutions of higher education. His scholarly focus lies in developing a classification of self-education models and technologies based on the social impact of education at various stages of societal development—a framework that has made it possible to identify the most relevant models and technologies of self-education in contemporary conditions.
Gupalov M.M. has elucidated the connections between historical perspectives on self-education and the current state of self-education among cadets in military universities, tracing these views in historical-pedagogical retrospect. He has identified the functions of self-education as a phenomenon within the educational process of military higher education institutions. He has substantiated the structure of cadet self-education as a distinct type of activity within the educational process. He has developed a technology for designing organizational-pedagogical conditions for cadets’ self-education, along with a program for their implementation in military universities. He has conducted experimental verification of the effectiveness of designing such organizational-pedagogical conditions for self-education among cadets of military higher education institutions.
Gupalov M.M. is a member of the editorial board of the journal “Current Issues of Kama Region Science” and a member of the editorial council of the journal “Siberian Social-Humanitarian Journal.”
